Déjà Vu is a short film about masks...the ones we all wear and the people we hope to unveil. The two lead characters happen across each other in a chance meeting. But have they met before? Maybe he knows more about her than she could ever imagine. Maybe he knows less about himself than he ever dreamed. The unveiling will reveal all. View scenes from the film.
Honeybee is a action/drama about Brianna Dukes (Senait Ashenafi), a beautiful young woman from a well-to-do black family, who drops out of college to pursue a career as a professional boxer. Brianna, nicknamed Honeybee, finds that her biggest challenges lie not in the ring, but outside of it. A disapproving father (James Avery), an abusive boyfriend (Antwan Mills), a scandalous boxing promoter (Victor Carr, Jr.) and a rival boxer (Corinne Van Ryck) who won't take "no" for an answer all stand in Brianna's path to becoming a boxing champion. On My Way To School is a short film about an eleven-year-old boy who gets beaten by bullies everyday on his way to school. The youngster doesn't tell his family for fear they will also be hurt. Consequently, he tries to handle things on his own by thinking of creative ways to avoid the confrontation. On My Way To School was screened at the 2000 Jamerican Film Festival in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It was one of the 30 films selected from over 200 submissions from around the world.
